Oddo ERP Specialist

Key responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate ongoing Odoo customization and improvement projects.
• Understand business requirements from different departments and convert them into clear system requirements and workflows.
• Work with the Accounts team to ensure proper handling of sales, purchases, POS, inventory, payments, returns, and accounting transactions.
• Manage and support key Odoo modules such as POS, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM, and E‑Commerce.
• Review existing business processes and identify areas where Odoo can improve efficiency or automate tasks.
• Work with developers to explain requirements, review custom features, and resolve system‑related issues.
• Perform functional testing and User Acceptance Testing (UAT) before new features or changes go live.
• Monitor data flow and integration between different Odoo modules.
• Assist with data migration, master data, reports, dashboards, and MIS requirements.
• Train employees on Odoo features and provide ongoing functional support.
• Prepare and maintain SOPs, system documentation, process workflows, and change records.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement of the ERP system and business processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in IT, Computer Science, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, MIS, or a related field.
• 2–4 years of experience working with Odoo or other ERP systems.
• Hands‑on experience with Odoo implementation, customization, administration, or functional consulting.
• Good knowledge of Odoo POS, Accounting, Inventory, Sales, CRM, and E‑Commerce modules.
• Understanding of accounting processes, retail operations, and ERP workflows.
• Experience working with software developers on ERP customization and system improvements.
• Experience in Retail, Automobile, Hospitality, Trading/Distribution, or IT is an advantage.
• Good communication, analytical, problem‑solving, and documentation skills.
