Part‑Time Mathematics Tutor for Grade 10

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Mathematics Tutor to support Grade 10 students at Babylon National School in Kathmandu. The tutor will deliver engaging lessons, reinforce core concepts and help students improve their exam performance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured Mathematics lessons aligned with the Grade 10 curriculum.
• Prepare lesson plans, practice exercises, assignments and revision materials.
• Identify learning gaps and provide individualized guidance.
• Conduct regular practice sessions, quizzes and assessments to monitor progress.
• Guide students in exam preparation and develop problem‑solving, analytical and logical reasoning skills.
• Review homework and assignments, offering constructive feedback.
• Maintain a positive, disciplined and supportive learning environment.
• Communicate student progress to management or parents as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified Mathematics tutor with at least 2 years of teaching experience.
• Strong knowledge of the Grade 10 mathematics curriculum.
• Ability to create clear lesson plans and instructional materials.
• Excellent communication skills for interacting with students, parents and school staff.
