Payment Recovery Executive

About the role

The Payment Recovery Executive is responsible for managing overdue customer accounts, collecting payments, and supporting legal recovery actions. The role involves regular field visits, direct interaction with clients, and coordination with internal teams to ensure timely cash flow.

Key responsibilities

• Follow up daily with customers who have overdue balances and secure timely payments.
• Visit client premises to collect payments, verify information, and address queries related to ledgers and VAT.
• Maintain accurate records of visits, follow‑ups, and collection activities.
• Deposit collected funds on the same day and report recovery status to the Team Leader.
• Identify defaulting accounts and recommend legal action when necessary.
• Assist with legal case preparation, court visits, and related procedures.
• Handle sensitive recovery matters professionally and tactfully.

Required profile

• Completed +2 education or currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree.
• Valid driving licence and own two‑wheeler for field visits.
• Strong communication and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to travel frequently for customer visits.
• Basic understanding of legal or recovery processes is a plus.
