PLC Operator

About the role

We are seeking a skilled PLC Operator to run, monitor, and maintain PLC‑controlled machinery in our production environment. The role focuses on ensuring smooth operations, high production efficiency, and quick resolution of technical issues.

Key responsibilities

• Operate and monitor PLC‑controlled machines, start/stop equipment and adjust settings according to SOPs.
• Watch PLC panels, HMI screens, sensors and alarms, reporting faults to the maintenance team.
• Perform basic troubleshooting of PLC systems and assist in resolving technical problems.
• Track production output, product quality and machine performance, maintaining logs and downtime reports.
• Conduct routine inspections, support preventive maintenance and keep the work area clean.

Required profile

• Diploma or Technical Certificate in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Industrial Automation or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience operating PLC/SCADA, machine or automation equipment in a manufacturing setting.
• Ability to work in shifts and meet production targets while following safety standards.

Required skills

• Knowledge of PLC systems, control panels, sensors, relays and industrial machinery.
• Familiarity with HMI screens, machine alarms and operating parameters.
• Basic electrical and mechanical troubleshooting.
