Portfolio Manager – Investment & Real Estate

About the role

The Portfolio Manager will lead the planning, execution, and monitoring of Genex Investment's portfolio across listed securities and real‑estate assets. You will shape investment strategies, conduct market research, and ensure alignment with the company’s risk appetite and regulatory framework.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement investment strategies for share and real‑estate portfolios.
• Conduct fundamental and technical analysis of listed companies.
• Monitor daily market movements to identify buying and selling opportunities.
• Optimize the portfolio to achieve targeted returns and recommend rebalancing when needed.
• Analyse financial statements, annual reports, and macro‑economic trends.
• Prepare investment proposals and recommendations for senior management.
• Assess investment risks and apply appropriate risk‑management measures.
• Coordinate with brokers, banks, regulators, and other financial institutions.
• Maintain comprehensive records of all investment transactions and produce periodic performance reports.
• Monitor regulatory changes affecting capital markets and ensure compliance.
• Evaluate real‑estate investment opportunities through financial and market analysis.
• Support annual budgeting, investment planning, and long‑term financial strategy.
• Present performance reports to the Board of Directors and senior leadership.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in investment portfolio management.
• Strong understanding of listed securities and real‑estate investment dynamics.
• Proven ability to analyse financial statements and macro‑economic indicators.
• Experience preparing investment proposals and presenting to senior stakeholders.
