About the role

Babylon National School is looking for a passionate Primary Science Teacher to inspire young learners in Kathmandu. The role involves designing and delivering hands‑on science lessons that develop curiosity, critical thinking, and a solid understanding of scientific concepts.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver engaging science lessons for primary‑level students.
• Create a positive, inclusive, and student‑centered classroom environment.
• Use interactive methods, experiments, demonstrations and educational activities.
• Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
• Maintain accurate records, assessments and reports.
• Encourage curiosity, creativity, observation and problem‑solving skills.
• Integrate technology and teaching resources where appropriate.
• Communicate regularly with parents about student development.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development and extracurricular activities.
• Ensure safety and well‑being of students during classroom and laboratory activities.

Required profile

• Minimum of 2 years (24 months) of teaching experience in primary science.
• Passionate, dedicated and creative approach to teaching.
• Ability to create engaging, hands‑on learning experiences.
• Strong communication skills for interaction with students, parents and staff.
