Principal Quality Assurance Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a Principal Quality Assurance Engineer to lead testing initiatives across our software platforms. The role involves designing and executing comprehensive test strategies, ensuring high quality releases, and mentoring the QA team.

Key responsibilities

• Design and perform functional, integration, regression, and smoke testing.
• Create and maintain manual test cases, test plans, and test scripts.
• Develop and execute SQL queries (Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server) to validate data integrity.
• Utilize industry‑leading QA tools such as Selenium and Xray for automated testing.
• Test web applications across Windows and Unix environments.
• Document test results and produce reports using Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Collaborate with development teams using Atlassian JIRA and Confluence.
• Provide technical guidance and solve complex testing problems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Computer‑related studies.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in software testing.
• Proven ability to work independently and within Agile/SCRUM teams.
• Strong analytical and communication skills.
• Experience in the healthcare industry or programming is a plus.
