Programme Coordinator – Nepal Flash Flood Response

About the role

World Vision International Nepal is seeking a Programme Coordinator to lead the Nepal Flash Flood Response 2026 in the districts of Rasuwa and Nuwakot. The role will oversee the design, planning, monitoring and adaptation of the emergency response, ensuring it meets humanitarian standards and moves from relief to early recovery.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate response planning and programme design together with the Response Manager, sector coordinators and MEAL team, and maintain the response logframe and indicators.
• Ensure programme design complies with international humanitarian standards (Sphere, CHS) and World Vision guidance.
• Engage internal teams, government actors, clusters and civil‑society partners to identify collaboration opportunities and set partner selection criteria.
• Lead transition and phase‑out planning, integrating lessons learned into regular WVI programming.
• Work with Finance and the Response Manager to keep the funding matrix aligned, track allocations and support grant compliance.
• Provide evidence and technical input for donor reporting and support the MEAL Officer and Information Management Officer.

Required profile

• Demonstrated experience coordinating humanitarian programmes, preferably in emergency or disaster contexts.
• Familiarity with Sphere and CHS standards and ability to apply them to programme design.
• Strong analytical and reporting capabilities, with experience working with partners, donors and government agencies.
• Ability to manage resources, funding tracking and compliance in collaboration with finance teams.
