Public Area Attendant – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Public Area Attendant will join Hotel Sabrina Kathmandu’s housekeeping team to ensure all public spaces are clean, safe, and welcoming for guests. This full‑time, on‑site position supports the hotel’s premium hospitality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain cleanliness of lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, stairways and outdoor common areas.
• Perform sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, polishing and surface care according to schedule.
• Replenish supplies, attend to spills promptly, and report maintenance issues.
• Assist guests courteously, respond to requests, and handle lost‑and‑found items.
• Coordinate with housekeeping and front‑office teams to ensure seamless service.

Required profile

• Previous experience in housekeeping, public‑area cleaning or a similar hospitality role.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to high hygiene standards.
• Good communication skills and professional interaction with guests and colleagues.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, bend and lift light to moderate loads throughout the shift.
• Reliability, punctuality and willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.

Required skills

• Knowledge of basic cleaning techniques and safe handling of cleaning chemicals.
• Familiarity with cleaning tools and equipment used in hotel environments.
