Purchase and Supply Chain Officer (Pharma)

About the role

Solid Future HR Consulting is seeking a full‑time Purchase and Supply Chain Officer to join its Kathmandu office. The role focuses on managing the end‑to‑end procurement process for pharmaceutical raw materials, packaging, equipment and services, ensuring that the organization’s operational needs are met efficiently and compliantly.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute procurement plans for pharmaceutical raw and packing materials, equipment, and services.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers, maintaining up‑to‑date supplier records.
• Process purchase orders, monitor inventory levels, and track deliveries to guarantee timely availability.
• Analyze purchasing data, prepare budgets, cost analyses and procurement reports.
• Review supply‑chain performance, identify improvement opportunities and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.

Required profile

• Master’s or graduate degree in Science, Pharmacy (B.Pharm), Commerce (B.Com) or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in purchasing and supply‑chain functions, preferably within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Proven supervisory or management experience.
• Strong communication, negotiation and analytical abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience with purchasing or procurement software.
