Purchase Head – Manufacturing (Food & Beverage)

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic Purchase Head to lead procurement activities for our food and beverage manufacturing operations, covering mineral water and flour production. The role will ensure cost‑effective sourcing while maintaining high quality standards and supporting production schedules.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard reliable suppliers that meet cost, quality, and delivery criteria.
• Negotiate contracts and terms to secure favorable pricing and service levels.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to verify compliance with specifications before approving purchase orders.
• Align procurement plans with inventory levels and production schedules to prevent stock imbalances.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the procurement office.
• Conduct regular market analysis, benchmark vendor prices, and identify cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors, banks, and customs agents to ensure smooth order processing, timely deliveries, and proper documentation.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of supplier management, cost analysis, and logistics.
