Purchase Head – Manufacturing

About the role

The company is seeking a Purchase Head to lead procurement activities for its manufacturing operations in Lipani, Birgunj. The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management and ensuring timely delivery of quality materials.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate and onboard reliable, cost‑effective suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to achieve favorable pricing and quality standards.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to verify compliance with specifications before issuing purchase orders.
• Align procurement plans with inventory levels and production schedules to prevent stock imbalances.
• Conduct regular market analysis, benchmark prices and uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors, banks, customs agents and logistics partners to ensure smooth order processing and timely delivery.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the office environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a purchasing or procurement leadership role within a relevant industry.
