Purchase Head – Manufacturing

About the role

The company is seeking a proactive Purchase Head to lead procurement activities for its manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for building a reliable supplier base, ensuring quality compliance, and aligning purchasing with production needs.

Key responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and onboard cost‑effective suppliers while maintaining strong vendor relationships.
• Negotiate terms and contracts to secure favorable pricing and quality assurance.
• Collaborate with the Quality team to verify compliance before approving purchase orders.
• Synchronize procurement schedules with inventory levels and production plans to prevent stock imbalances.
• Maintain housekeeping standards across the office environment.
• Conduct market analysis, benchmark prices, and uncover cost‑saving opportunities.
• Coordinate with vendors, banks, and customs agents to ensure smooth order processing, documentation, and timely delivery.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in a Purchase Head or similar procurement role within a relevant industry.
