Receptionist (Hospitality)

About the role

We are seeking a friendly, well‑presented Receptionist to be the first point of contact for guests at our hospitality establishment in Patan. The role involves welcoming visitors, handling phone calls, and supporting smooth front‑desk operations while delivering exceptional customer service.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist guests, visitors, and clients in a professional manner.
• Answer and direct phone calls promptly and courteously.
• Manage guest check‑ins, check‑outs, and reservations where applicable.
• Maintain visitor records and prepare daily reports.
• Prepare and update reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure smooth guest service.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and requests efficiently.
• Keep the reception area clean and organized.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing, documentation, and email correspondence.
• Work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a receptionist, front‑desk, customer service, or hospitality role.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in Nepali and English.
• Pleasant personality with strong interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, work under pressure, and handle confidential information professionally.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
