Recruitment Officer

About the role

Merojob is looking for a proactive and detail‑oriented Recruitment Officer to join its Human Resources team in Kathmandu. You will own the full recruitment cycle, from gathering client requirements to presenting shortlisted talent and guiding candidates through the hiring process.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate with clients to understand recruitment needs and define job specifications.
• Source, screen, and shortlist candidates using resume databases, job portals, portfolio sites and other channels.
• Conduct application screening, written tests, group discussions, interviews, document verification and other assessment activities.
• Prepare detailed candidate profiles and recommendations for client review and support final selection.
• Communicate employment terms, provide guidance to selected candidates and manage the hiring workflow.
• Post vacancies, schedule interviews, coordinate recruitment activities and handle related communications.
• Maintain accurate records of clients, candidates and recruitment activities in the database.
• Assist in preparing daily, monthly and annual recruitment reports.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of recruitment systems and processes.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the Team Leader or Head of Department.

Required profile

• Minimum two years of experience in recruitment or talent acquisition.
• Proactive, detail‑oriented and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with clients and candidates.
• Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports.
