Sales Officer – Commercial Vehicles

About the role

The Sales Officer will drive business growth for commercial vehicles by generating leads, managing showroom traffic, and building lasting customer relationships. This role requires a proactive approach to presenting product benefits, negotiating terms, and ensuring a seamless delivery experience.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and qualify potential customers for commercial vehicles.
• Conduct field visits, manage showroom walk‑ins, and follow up to achieve sales targets.
• Present product features, pricing, and financing options clearly to prospects.
• Negotiate terms, close sales, and coordinate timely vehicle delivery.
• Collaborate with finance, insurance, service, and other departments to ensure a smooth customer journey.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Management or a 10+2 qualification with at least one year of relevant sales experience.
• Proven sales experience, preferably in the automotive or commercial‑vehicle sector.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and capacity to address customer concerns efficiently.
• Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Valid two‑wheeler/motorcycle driving licence.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office.
• Experience using ERP systems.
