Semi-Qualified Chartered Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Semi‑Qualified Chartered Accountant to join our audit and advisory team in Kathmandu. The candidate will work closely with seniors and managers on statutory audits, tax compliance and financial reporting assignments.

Key responsibilities

• Execute statutory and internal audit assignments in line with standards and firm methodology.
• Assist in audit planning, risk identification and development of audit procedures.
• Perform substantive and control testing, evaluate audit evidence and prepare working papers.
• Review financial statements for compliance with NFRSs and legal requirements.
• Support tax, due‑diligence, financial analysis and other advisory engagements.
• Communicate with clients to obtain information and identify process gaps.

Required profile

• Strong analytical and communication abilities with a willingness to learn and take responsibility.
• Practical exposure to audit assignments and sound knowledge of Nepalese tax laws.
