Senior Business Development & Relationship Officer

About the role

We are looking for a dynamic Senior Business Development & Relationship Officer to expand our client base and secure new credit rating mandates. The role involves building strong relationships with corporate clients, banks, and financial institutions while coordinating with internal teams to deliver high‑quality services.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, banks, and other key stakeholders.
• Identify, pursue, and secure new credit rating mandates and business opportunities.
• Conduct client meetings, presentations, and site visits to promote services.
• Perform industry, market, and competitor analysis to uncover emerging opportunities.
• Coordinate with the analytical team to ensure timely execution of credit rating assignments.
• Prepare business proposals, presentations, and marketing materials.
• Represent the organization at industry events, seminars, conferences, and networking programs.
• Maintain regular follow‑ups with prospective and existing clients to ensure satisfaction.
• Monitor market trends and provide strategic recommendations for growth.
• Prepare periodic business development reports for management.

Required profile

• Minimum 4–5 years of experience in business development, relationship management, banking, or a related field.
• Master’s degree in Management, Finance, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal abilities.
• Strong networking and relationship‑building capabilities.
• Good understanding of banking, financial services, and corporate sectors.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and business development activities.

Required skills

• Proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
