Senior Loan Processor – Australian Mortgage (2+ years)

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Loan Processor with at least two years of experience in Australian mortgage lending. Based on‑site in Kathmandu, you will manage the full lifecycle of home loan applications for Australian borrowers, ensuring compliance with lender policies and regulatory standards.

Key responsibilities

• Collect, verify and validate borrower information, income documents, credit reports and property paperwork.
• Process applications through each assessment stage, updating internal systems and tracking progress.
• Coordinate with brokers, lenders and borrowers to resolve missing information and accelerate approvals.
• Support underwriting by identifying issues, performing preliminary reviews and preparing files for final decision.
• Mentor junior processors and uphold high standards of accuracy and customer communication.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of loan processing experience with Australian residential mortgages.
• Strong understanding of underwriting principles and lender credit policies.
• Excellent attention to detail, organizational ability and capacity to handle multiple files simultaneously.
• Effective communication skills for interaction with brokers, lenders and borrowers.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu and meet strict turnaround times.

Required skills

• Proficiency with mortgage CRM platforms.
• Experience using loan origination systems.
• Competence with standard office productivity tools.
