Senior Software Engineer - Quality Control

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer specialized in Quality Control to join our agile development team. You will be responsible for defining, executing, and automating test activities to ensure the reliability and performance of our software releases.

Key responsibilities

• Participate in all agile ceremonies, including daily stand‑ups, grooming, sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
• Prepare and configure test environments for fresh installs and upgrades.
• Analyze user stories and requirements to define functional and regression test scope.
• Create and update Operational Qualification (OQ) and test cases covering functional and non‑functional scenarios.
• Automate and execute test cases where applicable.
• Create Installation Qualification (IQ) documents and execute them according to the IQ Protocol.
• Execute OQs and test cases as defined in the OQ Protocol.
• Report, track, and retest defects after fixes, collaborating with developers and project managers.
• Classify defects following the Defect Management Process.
• Define validation test scope based on risk assessment.
• Review OQs, test cases, IQs, and release notes prepared by peers.
• Mentor and train new team members.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4‑5 years of experience in software quality assurance.
• Strong communication skills and a proactive attitude.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and able to work under pressure.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Team player with a focus on delivering high‑quality results.

Required skills

• Excellent understanding of software test methodologies, best practices, and terminology.
• Experience with Agile development processes.
• Knowledge of Salesforce (advantage).
