Senior Supply Chain Officer

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Supply Chain Officer to lead and optimise our FMCG supply chain operations in Kathmandu. The role focuses on ensuring efficient procurement, inventory management, demand planning, logistics and timely product availability.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end‑to‑end supply chain activities including procurement, inventory, logistics and distribution.
• Develop and monitor demand and supply plans based on business requirements.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels while minimising stock‑outs and excess stock.
• Coordinate with suppliers, distributors, warehouse, sales and finance teams.
• Monitor purchase orders, deliveries, lead times and supplier performance.
• Analyse supply chain data and prepare regular reports and forecasts.
• Identify operational gaps and implement measures to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Ensure timely availability and distribution of FMCG products across required locations.
• Support supplier negotiations and maintain strong vendor relationships.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and supply chain procedures.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics or a related field.
• Mandatory experience in the FMCG industry.
• Proven experience in supply chain, procurement, inventory, logistics or related functions.
• Strong knowledge of demand planning, inventory control, procurement and distribution.
