SEO & GEO Lead

About the role

We are seeking an experienced SEO & GEO Lead to own the strategy and execution of both traditional SEO and emerging AI‑driven search initiatives across multiple clients and industries. This hands‑on leadership position blends deep technical SEO expertise with a forward‑looking focus on generative search platforms, GEO optimization, and AI‑enhanced visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive SEO and GEO strategies aligned with client business goals.
• Conduct full technical SEO audits, resolve crawling/indexing issues, and optimise site architecture, canonicalisation, redirects, Core Web Vitals, and mobile usability.
• Manage structured data, schema markup, XML sitemaps, robots.txt, internal linking and URL structures.
• Lead keyword research, search intent analysis, topical clustering and content optimisation to meet E‑E‑A‑T standards.
• Monitor and improve visibility on AI‑powered search platforms such as ChatGPT, Google AI Overviews, Gemini, and Perplexity.
• Analyse competitor landscapes, SERP trends, entity mentions and content gaps to inform strategy.
• Collaborate with developers, content writers, clients and SEO team members to ensure seamless implementation.
• Mentor junior team members, review deliverables and maintain quality standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading SEO initiatives for diverse industries.
• Strong understanding of both traditional search algorithms and emerging AI‑driven search behaviours.
• Ability to stay ahead of rapid changes in search technology and adapt strategies accordingly.
• Excellent analytical mindset with a focus on measurable performance improvements.
