Service Advisor – After‑Sales Automotive

About the role

The Service Advisor is the primary liaison between customers and the after‑sales service department of a reputable automobile company in Kathmandu. You will guide customers through service and repair processes, provide accurate estimates, and ensure a high level of satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Greet customers, understand their vehicle service and repair needs, and record complaints.
• Inspect vehicles with customers and prepare job cards, repair orders, and cost estimates.
• Explain recommended repairs, maintenance requirements, and associated costs.
• Coordinate with workshop technicians to ensure timely and accurate completion of work.
• Monitor repair progress, keep customers informed, and conduct vehicle delivery after service.
• Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and service‑related concerns professionally.
• Promote value‑added services, maintenance packages, and genuine spare parts.
• Process warranty claims and ensure proper invoicing and payment collection.
• Maintain customer records and service history in the dealership management system.
• Follow up with customers post‑service to ensure satisfaction and gather feedback.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Automobile Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Business Administration or related field.
• 1–3 years of experience in automotive service, customer service or dealership operations (preferred).
• Basic understanding of automobile systems and maintenance procedures.
• Proficiency in computer applications and dealership/service management software.
