Service Head / Senior Manager – After Sales

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Service Head / Senior Manager to lead our after‑sales and service operations in Kathmandu. The role oversees installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and spare‑parts management for industrial products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and supervise service and after‑sales teams, ensuring high service quality and customer satisfaction.
• Manage installation, maintenance, troubleshooting and repair support activities.
• Develop and enforce service policies, SOPs and continuous‑improvement processes.
• Oversee spare‑parts planning, inventory control, procurement and stock availability.
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors for spare‑parts requirements and monitor consumption to avoid shortages or excess.
• Handle customer complaints, AMC, warranty and service contract activities, and prepare performance reports.
• Set departmental goals, monitor KPI achievement and conduct team meetings, training and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in service operations and spare‑parts management within the engineering or industrial sector.
• Strong leadership, communication and negotiation abilities.
• Analytical mindset with problem‑solving skills and experience managing service KPIs.
• Valid two‑wheeler driving licence.

• Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
