Shopify Developer – Mid to Senior

About the role

Azrach IT is looking for a Mid to Senior Shopify Developer with strong commercial Shopify experience to deliver high‑quality eCommerce solutions for our clients. This role goes beyond standard Shopify development, involving themes, apps, APIs, third‑party integrations and custom‑developed applications such as advanced product configurators.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver Shopify projects end‑to‑end, from requirements through deployment and ongoing support.
• Develop and customise Shopify stores, themes and storefront experiences.
• Work extensively with Shopify Apps and third‑party integrations.
• Integrate custom‑developed applications and advanced product functionality (configurators, custom options, colour/variant selection, live previews).
• Develop using Shopify Liquid, JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Implement solutions via Shopify REST APIs and GraphQL.
• Integrate payment solutions, third‑party systems and eCommerce services.
• Optimise stores for performance, SEO, accessibility and conversion.
• Troubleshoot technical issues across stores and integrations.
• Collaborate with Product, UI/UX, QA and clients throughout delivery.

Required profile

• Hands‑on Shopify developer able to take ownership of projects from requirements to production.
• Comfortable working beyond standard Shopify configurations and integrating custom applications and complex eCommerce functionality.

Required skills

• Strong commercial Shopify development experience.
• Shopify themes and Liquid.
• Shopify APIs (REST and GraphQL).
• Shopify Apps and third‑party integrations.
• Product configurators or complex product experiences.
• JavaScript, HTML and CSS.
• Git and modern development workflows.
