Site Accountant for 20 MW Solar Project

About the role

We are looking for a diligent Site Accountant to join our 20 MW solar project in Bardibas, Mahottari. You will be responsible for managing store inventories, cash, and accounting documentation on‑site, ensuring accurate financial records and compliance with local tax regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Receive and verify materials and equipment against dispatch documents, raising Goods Received Notes.
• Track high‑value assets such as modules and inverters, maintaining bin cards and stock registers.
• Control store operations, issuing materials against approved requisitions and keeping detailed issue records.
• Conduct periodic physical stock counts, report variances, and reconcile inventory.
• Manage site petty cash, local purchases, and day‑to‑day expenses.
• Maintain accounting documentation, apply VAT/PAN and TDS on local payments.
• Record entries in Tally and submit regular expense and stock statements to head office.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or +2 with relevant experience.
• Prior experience in store keeping and site accounting, preferably on construction or infrastructure projects.
• Honest, disciplined, and able to handle both cash and high‑value stock.
• Willingness to work full‑time on a project site.
