Social Media Content Creator

About the role

The Social Media Content Creator will join AluK Nepal’s marketing team in Kathmandu to craft and publish engaging content that highlights the company’s premium aluminum systems, projects, and brand values across digital channels.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, create and schedule posts for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other platforms.
• Develop and maintain a content calendar aligned with marketing campaigns.
• Capture photos and videos of products and projects, perform basic editing, and produce visual storytelling assets.
• Write compelling copy, captions and short articles that translate technical product features into clear, appealing messages.
• Monitor social media channels, respond to audience interactions professionally, and manage community engagement.
• Collaborate with marketing, sales and technical teams to support promotions and campaigns.
• Analyse performance metrics, generate reports and recommend improvements.
• Stay up‑to‑date with social media trends relevant to construction and architecture sectors.

Required profile

• Strong content creation abilities, including copywriting, basic graphic design and visual storytelling.
• Experience with Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and content scheduling tools.
• Familiarity with digital marketing practices such as audience engagement, community management and basic analytics.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with cross‑functional teams.
• Attention to detail, creativity and the ability to convey technical product features clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Media or a related field (preferred).
• Photography and videography skills with basic editing are a plus.
• Prior exposure to construction, architecture or building‑materials sectors is advantageous.
