Social Media Handler – Full‑time On‑site Role

About the role

The Social Media Handler will work full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu, responsible for building and maintaining Abasar Nepal’s presence across major social platforms. The role involves planning, creating and publishing engaging content, monitoring interactions, and adapting strategies based on performance data.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and maintain accounts on Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Develop and execute monthly content calendars and social media strategies.
• Create, edit and publish posts, reels, stories, videos and other digital assets.
• Write creative captions and promotional copy for each platform.
• Monitor comments, messages, mentions and respond professionally.
• Track performance using platform insights and analytics, preparing regular reports.
• Coordinate with design, marketing and recruitment teams for campaign content.
• Assist with paid social campaigns and boosting when required.
• Conduct competitor and market research to uncover new content opportunities.
• Ensure all published material follows brand guidelines.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business or related field (preferred).
• 1–2 years of experience in social media management or digital marketing; fresh graduates with strong practical skills may be considered.
• Good knowledge of Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube.
• Basic proficiency with Canva, CapCut, Photoshop or similar content creation tools.
• Understanding of social media analytics and performance metrics.
• Creative mindset with strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
