Software Engineer Intern – Full Stack Development

About the role

We are building an automated security and continuous compliance platform that monitors Linux/macOS hosts for vulnerabilities and regulatory compliance. As a Software Engineer Intern you will gain hands‑on experience across the full stack, contributing to backend services, system agents, databases, and a React/TypeScript dashboard.

Key responsibilities

• Develop backend APIs in Python (FastAPI) and Go for device enrollment, authentication, and data ingestion.
• Maintain lightweight endpoint agents and installer scripts (Bash/Shell) that interact with osquery on Linux/macOS.
• Write and optimise queries for PostgreSQL (configuration data) and ClickHouse (high‑volume telemetry).
• Implement user‑facing features in the React + TypeScript web console, such as fleet views and security status tables.
• Diagnose and fix issues across services, logs, and databases, adding unit and integration tests to ensure stability.

Required profile

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience (final‑year students or recent graduates encouraged).
• Strong problem‑solving mindset with ability to read system logs and trace bugs.
• Willingness to learn cloud and security tooling in a fast‑paced environment.
• GitHub profile showcasing personal or university projects.
