Sr. HR Officer – Factory Based HR

About the role

The company is seeking a Senior HR Officer to lead all human‑resource activities within its manufacturing plant in Ghorahi, Dang. This is a hands‑on, factory‑based position focused on managing the workforce, ensuring compliance with Nepal Labour Law, and supporting production goals.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee end‑to‑end factory HR operations, including attendance, leave, payroll inputs and employee records.
• Plan manpower, conduct recruitment, onboarding and deployment of staff according to production needs.
• Control attendance, shift scheduling, overtime and enforce employee discipline.
• Handle labour relations, grievance management and conflict resolution for factory workers.
• Ensure compliance with Nepal Labour Law, internal HR policies and statutory requirements.
• Prepare HR reports, MIS, attendance and overtime data.
• Drive employee engagement, welfare activities, training and performance management.
• Coordinate with Production and other departments for smooth workforce management.
• Maintain HR documentation and support audits and inspections.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in HR, Management or a related field.
• 4–6 years of HR experience, preferably in a manufacturing or factory environment.
• Strong knowledge of factory HR operations, labour management and Nepal Labour Law.
• Excellent communication, problem‑solving and negotiation abilities.
• Willingness to be based full‑time at the Ghorahi factory.
