Staff Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to provide accounting and financial support to our U.S.-based clients. You will manage day‑to‑day accounting activities, perform reconciliations, assist with financial reporting, and support tax and assurance‑related tasks.

Key responsibilities

• Handle daily accounting operations, maintain accurate financial records, and support client accounting needs.
• Perform regular account reconciliations and assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes.
• Prepare financial statements, workpapers, and supporting schedules for reporting and analysis.
• Support tax preparation by creating tax‑related accounting schedules and gathering documentation.
• Assist audit, review, and compilation engagements by providing requested schedules and reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience.
• Strong knowledge of general accounting principles and financial reporting practices.
• Excellent attention to detail, analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work independently while managing multiple tasks and deadlines.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with accounting software such as NetSuite or QuickBooks.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and/or Google Sheets.
