Technician – Copier & Printer Repair

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Technician to join our team in Kathmandu, focusing on the repair and maintenance of Canon multi‑function copiers and printers used across our distribution operations. This entry‑level position offers on‑the‑job training and development for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Install and configure copiers and printers for daily use.
• Monitor performance and conduct routine maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and software issues, including malfunctioning cartridges.
• Collaborate with the IT department to address network‑related printer problems.
• Provide demonstrations and clear service reports to end‑users.
• Stay informed about new printer technologies and recommend upgrades.

Required profile

• At least 12 months of experience with copier or printer maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow security protocols.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to evolving printer technologies.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Canon multi‑function copiers.
• General printer repair and cartridge replacement.
• Installation and configuration of printing devices.
• Hardware and software troubleshooting.
