Ticketing Officer – Airline Reservations

About the role

We are looking for a proactive Ticketing Officer to manage airline reservations for both domestic and international travel. The role involves handling the full ticketing lifecycle, from creating PNRs to processing cancellations and refunds, while ensuring compliance with fare rules and airline policies.

Key responsibilities

• Handle domestic, international and SOTO air ticketing.
• Create, modify and manage Passenger Name Records (PNRs).
• Issue tickets, process reissues, cancellations, refunds and voids.
• Work confidently with GDS systems and airline booking platforms.
• Verify fares, fare rules, routing, baggage allowances and ticket conditions.
• Compare flight options and prepare accurate quotations.
• Manage schedule changes, booking modifications and customer requests.
• Coordinate with airlines, agents and suppliers as needed.
• Prepare and send itineraries and booking confirmations.
• Maintain accurate ticketing, payment and transaction records.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of relevant ticketing experience.
• Strong practical knowledge of GDS and airline reservation systems.
• Good understanding of fare rules, reissues, refunds and cancellations.
• Familiarity with airline routing, baggage policies and ticket conditions.
• Excellent communication and customer handling skills.
• Highly organized, accurate and able to manage multiple bookings independently.

Required skills

• GDS systems (e.g., Amadeus, Sabre, Galileo).
• Airline reservation platforms.
• AI tools such as ChatGPT, Claude and Gemini for research and productivity.
