Tracking Officer

About the role

The Tracking Officer will oversee a team of 10‑15 marketing staff, ensuring they follow planned routes, visit outlets effectively, and meet sales targets. Based at the Kathmandu headquarters of Agro Thai Foods, the role combines field supervision, route optimisation and performance reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Track and monitor daily activities of the marketing team, checking live locations to verify route compliance and market coverage.
• Prepare and distribute daily and weekly route plans, adjusting routes as needed to maximise efficiency.
• Ensure at least 80 % effective outlet visitation, focusing on quality of visits rather than sheer quantity.
• Validate field activities through photos and reports covering product displays, stock availability, DPS board visibility, postering, tie‑ups and other marketing actions.
• Support the team in achieving daily and monthly sales targets by providing guidance, motivation and corrective actions.
• Track orders taken versus actual sales, follow up on pending orders and coordinate with sales or dispatch teams.
• Compile daily activity and performance reports and share feedback with management and the marketing staff.
