Travel and Ticketing Officer

About the role

The Travel and Ticketing Officer will work full‑time on‑site in Kathmandu, handling daily ticket sales for both domestic and international travel. The role involves processing reservations, issuing tickets through booking systems, and providing accurate travel information to customers.

Key responsibilities

• Sell tickets and manage reservations using GDS or other booking platforms.
• Assist customers with fare, schedule, and itinerary queries.
• Process changes, cancellations, and special requests promptly.
• Coordinate with airlines and other service providers to confirm bookings.
• Maintain organized records of bookings, payments, and travel documents.
• Support sales initiatives to achieve individual and team targets.

Required profile

• Prior experience in travel agencies, airline ticketing, or a related field (preferred).
• Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Business, Tourism, Hospitality, or a related discipline (beneficial).
• Strong communication and customer‑service abilities.
• Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and documentation.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GDS or other ticketing/booking systems.
• Basic computer literacy, including office software and online travel platforms.
