Warehouse Officer

About the role

We are looking for a responsible, organised and detail‑oriented Warehouse Officer to oversee daily warehouse activities. You will manage receiving, storing, inventory control, order preparation and dispatch, ensuring operations run efficiently, accurately and safely.

Key responsibilities

• Manage day‑to‑day warehouse workflow and coordinate with purchasing, sales, production and logistics teams.
• Receive incoming goods, verify quantities, quality and specifications against purchase orders and delivery documents.
• Inspect materials for damage or discrepancies and report issues promptly.
• Arrange and store materials according to type, quantity and storage requirements.
• Maintain accurate records of all goods received, issued, transferred and dispatched.
• Monitor stock levels, conduct regular cycle counts and assist with physical inventory checks.
• Investigate and report stock discrepancies, damages, losses and obsolete items.
• Prepare goods for delivery, ensuring correct packaging, labeling and documentation.
• Update inventory information in ERP or Excel and follow FIFO/FEFO principles.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and security procedures.
• Coordinate with transporters, drivers and suppliers as needed.
• Support the Warehouse Manager in improving efficiency and accuracy.

• Good communication skills for interaction with internal teams and external partners.
• Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with ERP systems for inventory management.
• Advanced Excel skills for data tracking and reporting.
• Knowledge of FIFO/FEFO inventory principles.
• Familiarity with handling fragile, hazardous or temperature‑sensitive materials.
