About the role

SoftUp is looking for a talented WordPress Developer to join its Pokhara office. You will be responsible for building and maintaining high‑quality WordPress sites that meet client requirements and deliver excellent performance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and customize WordPress websites based on client specifications.
• Create custom themes, plugins, and functionalities.
• Collaborate with designers to ensure pixel‑perfect, responsive layouts.
• Optimize sites for speed, performance, and SEO.
• Troubleshoot and resolve bugs and technical issues.
• Stay current with WordPress trends, themes, and plugins.
• Assist in project estimation and planning.
• Provide technical guidance to team members.
• Ensure security best practices are applied to all WordPress projects.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field (preferred).
• Proven experience as a WordPress Developer with a strong portfolio.
• Excellent problem‑solving and debugging abilities.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and meet project deadlines.
