About the role
We are looking for an Accounting Associate to join our century‑old family‑run corporate house in Kathmandu. The role is pivotal in maintaining financial integrity and ensuring operational compliance across the organization.
Key responsibilities
- Record daily transactions in Tally and manage the full accounts payable/accounts receivable cycle, including RTGS and cheque payments.
- Track post‑dated cheques (PDCs) to avoid cash‑flow disruptions.
- Reconcile factory attendance records with payroll to ensure accurate salary calculations for both time‑based and production‑based staff.
- Handle VAT compliance and maintain vendor documentation, monitoring renewal dates for policies such as group insurance.
- Verify that store goods and raw material invoices carry the correct security team stamps and conduct routine CCTV surveillance to enforce site protocols.
