Accounts Payable Assistant

About the role

We are seeking an Accounts Payable Assistant to join Omnicom Media Group Nepal’s finance team. The role involves processing supplier invoices and employee expense claims, ensuring accuracy and timely entry into the accounting system.

Key responsibilities

• Process 350–400 supplier invoices and 70–150 employee expense claims each week.
• Upload invoices to the online approval system, entering invoice number, date and amount.
• Review travel‑related invoices against internal databases for approval status and purpose.
• Enter approved invoices and expense claims into the accounting system within established timelines.
• Verify and maintain up‑to‑date supplier bank details.
• Maintain digital records and process documentation in the online system.
• Communicate with internal stakeholders to resolve discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field.
• Prior experience in accounts payable, invoice processing or expense management is an advantage.
• Familiarity with accounting systems, invoice approval platforms or ERP systems is desirable.
