AI Training Facilitator – National Consultant (Kathmandu)

About the role

UNICEF Nepal, in partnership with the National Health Education, Information, Communication Center (NHEICC), is seeking an Individual National Consultant to design and deliver a competency‑based Artificial Intelligence (AI) training programme. The focus is on Social and Behaviour Change (SBC) and Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE), strengthening government capacity to produce high‑quality digital communication materials.

Key responsibilities

• Consult with UNICEF Nepal and government partners to define training objectives and agenda.
• Review existing SBC/RCCE documents and identify AI integration points.
• Develop a comprehensive AI training package, including presentations, exercises, case studies, role‑plays and participatory learning tools.
• Facilitate interactive training sessions for government staff and stakeholders in Kathmandu.
• Provide guidance on creating AI‑enhanced SBC and RCCE content and support institutionalisation within government systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience designing and delivering AI‑focused training programmes.
• Familiarity with SBC, RCCE and health communication contexts.
• Experience working with UN agencies or government institutions in Nepal.
• Strong analytical and facilitation skills, with ability to adapt content to local needs.
