Assistant Account Manager

About the role

National Medical College in Birgunj is seeking a dynamic Assistant Account Manager to support the hospital’s finance function. The role involves managing daily accounting tasks, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with standards and regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations of the hospital.
• Ensure accurate and timely recording of financial transactions and maintenance of accounting records.
• Prepare and review financial statements, management reports, budgets, and financial analyses.
• Monitor receivables, payables, cash flows, and other financial activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards, tax laws, and regulatory requirements.
• Coordinate with internal departments on budgeting, financial reporting, and cost control.
• Monitor and strengthen internal financial controls and accounting procedures.
• Liaise with auditors, banks, tax authorities, and other relevant stakeholders.
• Review hospital revenue, expenses, billing, collection, and overall financial performance.
• Support management in financial planning, decision‑making, and cost optimization.
• Supervise and guide the accounts and finance team.
• Perform other finance and accounting responsibilities as assigned by management.

Required profile
