Assistant Manager Human Resources

About the role

The Assistant Manager Human Resources will support the HR Manager in daily HR operations for a leading hospitality brand in Nepal. Based in Nepalgunj, this full‑time, on‑site position focuses on recruitment, onboarding, employee documentation, and ensuring compliance with local labor regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Assist with recruitment, screening, and onboarding of new staff.
• Maintain accurate attendance, leave, and payroll records.
• Coordinate training and development initiatives across departments.
• Handle employee relations issues and support performance management processes.
• Prepare regular HR reports and maintain up‑to‑date employee files.
• Collaborate with department heads to address staffing and engagement needs.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of core HR functions such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and performance management.
• Familiarity with Nepalese labor laws, especially within the hospitality sector.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities to work with staff at all levels.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field; HR certifications are a plus.
• Prior experience in HR roles, preferably in hospitality or service‑oriented organizations.
