Assistant Manager, Sales and Business Development

About the role

Genese Solutions is seeking an Assistant Manager for Sales and Business Development to drive revenue growth in Nepal. You will identify new opportunities, manage key accounts, and lead the sales cycle from prospecting to closing while mentoring junior sales staff.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and close a personal portfolio of high‑value accounts and deals.
• Lead negotiations on complex or escalated deals.
• Coach, mentor, and onboard Junior Sales staff to achieve their targets.
• Run regular team huddles, pipeline reviews, and training sessions.
• Monitor team‑wide CRM data for accuracy, pipeline health, and forecast reliability.
• Step in to resolve escalated client relationships and service issues.
• Deliver client‑facing and internal presentations.
• Conduct market analysis and competitor research to shape sales strategy.

Required profile

• 5+ years of experience in a sales role, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or mentorship capacity.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field (MBA a plus).
• Proven negotiation skills and a record of closing complex deals.
• Demonstrated success in lead generation and pipeline management.

Required skills

• Advanced CRM proficiency (Salesforce, HubSpot, Zoho) including reporting and forecasting.
