Assistant Security Manager – Hotel Security

About the role

The Assistant Security Manager leads safety and security operations for a modern, internationally‑branded hotel. You will protect guests, employees and property while ensuring compliance with local laws and brand standards.

Key responsibilities

• Lead day‑to‑day security operations, supervise staff, set goals and provide coaching.
• Ensure safety of guests, team members and hotel assets by enforcing policies and procedures.
• Plan and conduct patrols, fire drills, first‑aid and emergency preparedness activities.
• Manage incident reporting, key control and liaison with authorities and external stakeholders.
• Assist with departmental budgeting, monitor expenses and oversee security projects and renovations.
• Promote a culture of safety, security awareness and staff development.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality or a related field (preferred).
• 4–6 years of experience in security management, preferably in hotels or resorts.
• Strong leadership, team‑management, communication and conflict‑resolution abilities.
• Proficiency in safety, security, first‑aid and emergency procedures.
• Ability to manage multiple shifts, supervise large teams and liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
