Loss Prevention Manager

About the role

The Loss Prevention Manager oversees daily security operations to protect property, assets, guests, and employees. This role ensures compliance with legal and safety standards while supporting guest and employee satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage security and loss prevention operations, including patrols, emergency response, investigations, and key control.
• Conduct hazard and risk assessments, quarterly OSHA/Safety audits, and develop shutdown and safety procedures.
• Maintain logs, certifications, and documentation required by law and SOPs.
• Oversee the Accident Prevention Committee, first‑aid program, and claims process for liability and workers’ compensation.
• Develop liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services.

Required profile

• High school diploma/GED with 4 years security/loss‑prevention experience, OR a 2‑year degree in Criminal Justice with 2 years experience.
• Ability to train staff in emergency procedures and enforce safety regulations.
• Strong communication and conflict‑resolution skills.

Required skills

• Operation and maintenance of CCTV equipment and alarmed doors.
• Key control and electronic key system management.
• Conducting OSHA/Safety audits and hazard assessments.
