Biomedical/Electronic Engineer

About the role

We are seeking a skilled Biomedical/Electronic Engineer to join Bikash Surgical Concern in Kathmandu. The role involves installing, calibrating, maintaining and repairing a range of biomedical equipment across hospitals throughout Nepal.

Key responsibilities

• Install, calibrate, maintain and repair patient monitors, ECG machines, anesthesia machines, operating‑theatre lights and tables, and other medical devices.
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure safety, reliability and optimal performance of all equipment.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues promptly to minimise equipment downtime.
• Provide on‑site technical support and training to hospital staff on proper operation and maintenance.
• Maintain accurate service reports and documentation of all repair and maintenance activities.
• Ensure compliance with manufacturer guidelines and industry safety standards.

Required profile

• At least 2 years of hands‑on experience with biomedical or electronic equipment in a clinical setting.
• Willingness to travel across Nepal to deliver technical support.
• Strong problem‑solving abilities and attention to detail.
