About the role
The BIT Program Coordinator will manage day‑to‑day academic operations for the information technology and management programs at Virinchi College. This position serves as a bridge between college management, faculty, and students, ensuring high educational standards and smooth program delivery.
Key responsibilities
- Mentor IT students, monitor attendance and performance, and organize workshops, hackathons, guest lectures, and industry visits.
- Design and maintain master timetables, class schedules, and academic calendars while coordinating with full‑time and visiting faculty.
- Oversee the use of digital learning tools and learning management systems, preparing regular operational reports for management.
- Coordinate internal assessments, assignment tracking, and semester examinations, managing exam logistics and grade verification.
- Support admissions and marketing teams by leading orientation sessions for prospective students and parents.
