Business Development Manager

About the role

The Business Development Manager will join NextLevel Skills and Career in Kathmandu to drive growth of its training and career development services. This full‑time, on‑site position focuses on identifying new business opportunities, building strategic partnerships, and expanding the client base across educational institutions and employers.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct market research to uncover emerging opportunities in the education and training sector.
• Develop and present proposals, negotiate agreements, and secure new partnerships.
• Maintain and nurture long‑term relationships with existing partners.
• Collaborate with internal teams to align service offerings with market needs.
• Support promotional activities and track performance against growth targets.
• Prepare regular reports on sales pipelines, revenue forecasts, and strategic recommendations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in business development, sales or partnership building, preferably in education, training or career services.
• Strong analytical abilities for market research and data‑driven decision making.
• Excellent communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally, manage multiple initiatives and meet deadlines.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Marketing or a related field; advanced qualifications are a plus.
• Demonstrated integrity and commitment to inclusive, equitable practices.

Required skills

• Proficiency with common office productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Office).
• Experience using CRM or sales‑tracking systems.
