Camera Salesperson – Retail & Streaming Equipment

About the role

The Camera Salesperson works on‑site in Kathmandu, helping customers choose the right cameras and accessories for streaming and content creation. You will act as a product expert, guiding creators to equip themselves with the tools they need to succeed on Garocha’s platform.

Key responsibilities

• Advise customers on cameras, lenses, and related streaming gear based on their needs.
• Demonstrate product features and explain technical specifications such as resolution, frame rates, and sensor types.
• Manage inventory, maintain attractive product displays, and process sales transactions accurately.
• Provide basic troubleshooting and support for equipment setup.
• Collaborate with the sales team to achieve monthly targets and coordinate with creators to ensure optimal equipment usage.

Required profile

• Strong knowledge of cameras, lenses, and accessories, including technical fundamentals.
• Retail or customer‑facing sales experience with a focus on assessing needs and recommending products.
• Comfort with streaming technology (webcams, DSLRs, mirrorless cameras, microphones, basic video setups).
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to simplify technical concepts.
• Basic computer proficiency for point‑of‑sale systems and inventory records.
• Ability to work on‑site in Kathmandu, stand for extended periods, and handle equipment safely.
• High school diploma or equivalent; sales, photography, or electronics training is a plus.
