Category Manager – Ecommerce

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Category Manager – Ecommerce to drive category growth, profitability, product assortment, vendor partnerships, pricing, promotions, and inventory performance across e‑commerce channels.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category strategies for Health, Beauty, and Fashion.
• Own category sales, margins, profitability, assortment and overall performance.
• Manage relationships with vendors, brands, distributors and suppliers.
• Negotiate pricing, margins, discounts, rebates, promotions and commercial terms.
• Identify and onboard new brands and products.
• Monitor market trends, competitors, customer demand and category opportunities.
• Coordinate campaigns, product launches and promotional activities.
• Analyze category KPIs and prepare business‑performance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Management, Supply Chain or related field; Master's preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in Category Management, Buying, Merchandising or related functions.
• Strong experience in Health, Beauty, Fashion e‑commerce or FMCG.
• Proven experience managing vendors, brands, product portfolios, pricing, promotions and inventory.
• Excellent commercial negotiation and vendor‑management skills.
• Strong understanding of margins, pricing, category profitability and inventory performance.
• Excellent Excel/data‑analysis and reporting skills.
• Strong leadership, communication and cross‑functional coordination abilities.
